Goals

The Bears Den Program is designed to provide a safe, positive place for kids to stay before and after school that offers fun and engaging activities, builds successful and productive citizens and is affordable for our working parents.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BEARS DEN MORNING PROGRAM
A Bears Den morning program will be offered each morning from 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. in the elementary cafeteria. There is a $1 fee per student.
Students attending the morning program will not be charged again if they attend the after-school program on the same day.
This program is funded by a 21st CCLC Federal Grant. No child will be denied services due to financial situations. Scholarships are available and forms can be picked up in the elementary office.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BEARS DEN AFTERNOON PROGRAM
The Bears Den is an after-school program that provides recess, enrichment classes, a snack, and tutoring for middle school students. Bears Den provides care until 5:45 p.m. each evening. Bears Den is not available on days when school is canceled due to bad weather. However, if it is a scheduled early-release day, Bears Den activities will be available. If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, there will be NO Bears Den.
Parents may pick up their children anytime throughout the evening at the Bear Cave, which is across from the VoAg classrooms.
